So this was the big day. Grant was going to meet Thomas. He was so excited! We woke up extra early and made the two and a half hour journey to Bryson City, NC. He was wide-eyed the entire way... Thomas could be around any corner!

We stopped to eat breakfast at The Iron Skillet to make sure we had the energy to follow Thomas and his friends around all day.

There were several train tables set up and Grant found one all to himself...

... and then tried to walk off with as many trains as possible!

Grant picked out his very own Thomas tattoo. (And we even found one for
Grayson.)

Modeling his Thomas art.

By this time, we needed to stand in line.
Grayson was all smiles as we prepared to board the train.

"I've been waiting for this moment all my life!"

Gary and Grant.

Jr. Engineer Grant.

Jr. Engineer
Grayson.
Grayson was such a ham. I have at least ten pictures of him just grinning from ear to ear while riding the train. Maybe he'll be as big of a Thomas fan as his big brother.

Sir
Topham Hatt, Grant and me.

Me and my sweet boy on the bus ride back to our car. We all had such a great time!
