Action Plan...

On August 1st, Gary and I found out we are going to have a baby! In one of those extremely anti-climatic moments, we kept staring at the three pregnancy tests (that's right... it took more than one to convince us that it was for real. We even decided to use two different brands, you know, just in case!) and then at each other. You expect to be so thrilled that you just can't stop jumping up and down for joy, however, our reaction was very subdued. We were in shock. I guess neither one of us expected it quite this early. Gary kept using the word "surreal." After 10 or so minutes of standing in the bathroom, we decided to talk about how and when we were going to tell everyone. This is when the excitement really hit! You start to think about how everyone will react to our good news and you can't help but smile! So, we have our action plan... now, hopefully, we'll be able to stick to it.
