We Are Spreading the Good News!

We shared our good news with our immediate family over the weekend! Everyone is super excited! We also told Beau and Erica on Sunday night. All of this sharing has made it seem more real. I can't wait to meet our little baby! Our first doctor's appointment is on August 15th at 2:40. They'll do the first ultrasound scan to determine the due date. If we are super lucky, we will even get to see the heart beating. Apparantly, you can't hear it yet, but you can see it pulsating on the scan. Since I will be exactly six weeks (by my calculations) on the date of the doctor's visit, there is a pretty big chance that we won't see the heartbeat or the baby... just the sac it has to live in for the next nine months! After the doctor has confirmed the pregnancy, we will continue to spread the news!
