Baby Time!

Dr. Klein and Associates have decided that we need to induce labor next week (assuming little Grant doesn't make his arrival before then). Excuse the layman's description of the following condition: Cholestasis of Pregnancy is a condition where your liver and gallbladder stop functioning normally. Those organs don't effectively rid your body of bile and it could be bad news for baby. We have been monitoring him for the last two weeks (and everything is great), but Dr. Klein does not want to take any chances that something might go wrong in the future. So they are inducing a week early. I have to go in on Tuesday night so that they can "ripen my cervix..." sounds fun, doesn't it? They will start me on Pitocin (?) Wednesday morning and we should have a baby boy sometime that same day! Wish us luck and keep us in your prayers!
