He's Here!!!!

Well, Erica here. We have a baby boy!! Grant Garrett Scogin was born at 1:34pm today. He weighs 8 lbs 7 oz and is 20 inches long. Aimee and Gary went in to Labor and Deliver last night and Aimee was given Cervadil. It worked great, her water broke around midnight and contractions started. She received her epidural this morning at 7:30. She labored all the way to 1:00pm then started pushing. She did great (so I hear from Gary) and Grant came into the world at 1:34. Grant is beautiful. He has strawberry-blonde, curly hair. He was so quiet! Everyone was just passing him around and he never cried. He "barked" a few times, but he was so good!
