I've been a bad, bad blogger. But I think I have a pretty good excuse. Our Christmas was just a bit different than expected, but our newest addition only brought merriment to the season! We had such a great two weeks... just learning how to be one little family. And it was made even better because we were able to share it with our extended family as well.
This was my attempt at being creative. Grayson = the best Christmas gift ever.
Grant has adjusted really well to being a big brother. The tantrums have subsided and he doesn't even seem to notice that things are new and different anymore. It's like Grayson has always been his brother. He always wants to hold him...
... and hug him.
Christmas morning brought huge smiles, lots of fun and TRUCKS! We decided not wrap some gifts from Santa. The first thing Grant saw under the tree was this truck. He LOVED it! However, we had the hardest time getting him to focus on opening other gifts! By six o'clock (in the evening), we still had three gifts he hadn't opened. Guess he likes to take things slow!

We originally had planned to go to my parent's house for Christmas. Under the changing circumstances, they brought the food and gifts to us! While they were here, Grandpa sat down to read one of Grant's new books. He really does enjoy being read to.

On New Year's Day, we celebrated Christmas once again. And we remembered to take a family photo!

Oh, and trains! Grant's favorite toy by far. He sits for hours and plays with these little trains. He mostly got train cars, but he did get one train engine (Thomas). If you have seen the Thomas trains, you know that each engine has a face on the front. Well, I catch Grant kissing Thomas' face quite often. It's the cutest thing.
Uncle Greg and Aunt Jen gave Grant a Thomas the Train tent. Tippi and Grant decided to try it out! He loves climbing in and out of this. Another toy that keeps him busy!
Can you say, "Hot Rod?" Bibby and John can! Grant's first pedal car was a hit! He still hasn't figured out how to use the pedals, but he looks good cruising in his new car.
